Donation Campaign for Student Scholarships

In celebration of the Illinois Chamber Music Festival's 20th year, we kicked off a donation campaign for student scholarships. Each summer, we award over $3,500 in need-based scholarships to students who would not otherwise be able to attend the Festival. Your support is greatly appreciated in helping talented young musicians fulfill their dreams of learning and growing through this immersive musical experience.

All donors will have their name recognized in the program book and on the website.

How can I make a donation?

You can now donate online through our partnership with the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation (IPCF). Donations may be made by check, credit card, Electric Funds Transfer (ACH) or via your PayPal account. Donations can also be made via securities, life insurance, estate planning or via required minimum distributions of an IRA by contacting the IPCF directly at 309-662-4477. This is a secure way to support us and we thank you and IPCF for their partnership. The Illinois Chamber Music Festival is a 501(c)(3).

Why Support the Festival?

The history of the Illinois Chamber Music Festival represents a quest for professional excellence and a commitment to bringing world-class music to audiences in the Bloomington-Normal community. With community support and individual contributions, the Festival can offer all performances free of charge.

About the Illinois Chamber Music Festival

The Illinois Chamber Music Festival is among Illinois’ best professional chamber music festivals. Founded in 2003 by Nina Gordon and Lisa Nelson, who believed that chamber music adds value to community life, the Festival has grown to attract top musicians and offer outstanding performances and superior chamber music training to H.S. and college students.

Now in its 20th season, the Festival is viewed as one of the cultural treasures of the Bloomington-Normal area. Cited by the Pantagraph as a “musical gem,” the Festival is recognized by the Illinois Arts Council and the ACMP-Chamber Music Network.
